Princeton University Professor Frederick L. Dryer, Ph.D. Joins ORYXE Energy’s Science Advisory Board

Irvine, Calif. – Aug. 22, 2005 – ORYXE Energy International announced today the addition of Frederick L. Dryer, Ph.D., to its Science Advisory Board.

Frederick Dryer is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University and is a member of the Editorial Board for Progress in Energy and Combustion Science. Considered a leading national authority on the combustion sciences, Dryer has published extensively, lectured and acted as a consultant for the government, industry and legal profession.

The addition of Dryer comes at a significant time in the company’s history. ORYXE Energy develops and markets proprietary fuel additives for diesel, gasoline and heavy distillates to enable these fuels to burn cleaner and reduce toxic emissions. Earlier this year, the company launched its first product-to-market, ORYXE LED, the first proportionally-injected additive to be approved for use in meeting the new Texas Low Emission Diesel rule, which takes effect Oct. 1, 2005.

Among some of Dryer’s other recent advisory roles are his service on the National Materials Advisory Board/National Research Council Committee on Improved Fire and Smoke Resistant Materials for Commercial Aircraft Interiors, on the NASA Scientific Advisory Panel for the Atmospheric Effects of Aviation Project, and on the National Materials Advisory Board/National Research Council Committee on Aviation Fuels with Improved Fire Safety.

Dryer has served as a full time consultant to the petroleum and energy conversion industries during three academic sabbaticals, working with companies including Arco, Exxon, Mobil, GM and TRW.

He holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y. and a Ph.D. in Aerospace and Mechanical Sciences from Princeton University.

“We are pleased that Dr. Dryer has agreed to join our Science Advisory Board,” said Walter Schindler, Chairman and CEO of ORYXE Energy International. “Our technical team is excited to work with such an eminent scientist to improve the efficiency of fossil fuels.”

ORYXE Energy’s Science Advisory Board is comprised of leading, industry-experienced scientists and consultants in petroleum chemistry, chemical engineering, combustion science and other related fields. The Board contributes actively to the development and commercialization of ORYXE Energy’s technology, intellectual property, know-how and science. Current members of the Science Advisory Board include Ed Aitken, M.S.; Geoffrey E. Dolbear, Ph.D.; Richard J. Laub, Ph.D. and Zoltan C. Mester, Ph.D.

“I am honored to have been elected to the Science Advisory Board of ORYXE Energy,” said Dryer. “I am looking forward to working with ORYXE to make real contributions to the combustion efficiency of fossil fuels.”
