Fluctuations in fuel pricing, environmental regulations and process upsets make optimizing a refinery a challenge. ORYXE Energy has developed a CARB (California Air Resources Board) diesel additive, ORYXE® RCD, to help refiners meet that challenge.

Value Proposition
ORYXE RCD will enable refiners and fuel suppliers to create CARB diesel fuel using a more flexible formulation. Specifically, a higher aromatics limit and a lower cetane number will enable refiners to optimize their diesel pool and improve margins.
The Product
ORYXE Energy’s additive technology is unique because of its ability to simultaneously reduce several toxic emissions and remain cost effective. Many additives available today typically decrease one criteria pollutant, but increase others. The
unique, proprietary ingredient in ORYXE Energy’s additive technology is biodegradable, non-toxic and compatible with fossil fuels.
Testing
ORYXE Energy believes in sound scientific testing at the most respected laboratory facilities. ORYXE RCD emissions testing is being conducted at the EPA and CARB recognized West Virginia University National Research Center for Alternative Fuels, Engines, and Emissions Laboratory.
Based on Proven Technology
ORXYE Energy’s technology has been approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for use in an alternative diesel formulation to meet the new Texas Low Emission Diesel standards. ORYXE Energy manufactures its additive in Pasadena, TX and is the preferred solution for key refiners and distributors in the region.
